Area name, is the name of the process wherein a computer or a service presents information to the internet. www.google.com, www.facebook.com, ftp.netscape.com are each examples of area names.( These are in order examples of area names for a website and an FTP server).
These are each registered names and companies usually obtain area names in the names of their own companies. For example, blogname.com is referred to as a subdomain; com shows the area type. If at the end of an area name there are no country codes such as tr, hk, au, that area name most likely takes place on a computer in the US, but this is not always definite. For example there are no tr extensions found in the area names of Superonline sites, despite the fact that their servers are found in Turkey. Here are a few country codes:

What is Subdomain?
Subdomain: It is the sub area names of an area name, in your web area it is possible to open up many sub area names under the same area name.
A sub area name can be ordered in a different way independent of the area name in the zone where this sub area name is attached to. And the control and management of this zone can be given to different people or establishments.
If the area name www.yoursite.com belongs to you, then the site 'subdomainname.yoursite.com' is the subdomain name of this.
For example: the site http://translate.google.com is a subdomain that was opened under the area name http://www.google.com.
If an area name and a subdomain is wanted to be bought at the same time, the hosting features of the area name should be first looked at. Subdomain and hosting are services that are given at the same time.
Generally packets that are subdomain are opened unlimitedly but my advice to you is that you shouldnt open too many subdomains. Try to present content from a different field for every subdomain that you open.
